Delta Hotel

This proposed Delta Hotel by Marriott will give the current hotel building a total exterior renovation and refinish, renovations to all existing guestrooms, the addition of guestrooms, and the renovation and refurbishing of the common atrium. The design of this renovation is influenced by the proximity to the airport, the viticultural area, and the soon to be neighbor, the Santa Maria Museum of Flight. The neutral color scheme takes its cue from the landscape and agriculture of the area. The guests will see patterns, forms, and materials throughout the hotel that relate to plans and flight, an experience that abstractly replicates the flight through the valley.
