Hotel Paradox

Santa Cruz, California

Hospitality

Located in Santa Cruz, Hotel Paradox started life as a Holiday Inn built in the 1960’s and up until the renovation split its use as student housing for UCSC during the school year and a hotel in the summer months. Arris Studio Architects headed the design team to help transform this aging structure into a pristine modern Hotel and conference center set in a redwood forest. Improvements included complete lobby, conference room and restaurant re-configuration, update the outdoor pool and guest area to create an inviting and relaxing environment. Each guestroom has been updated and improved to carry the theme set in the public areas.

Hotel Paradox is a part of the Marriott Autograph Collection of hotels containing 170 guest rooms and approximately 18,000 square feet of conference space and restaurant.
