The Project

The Home2 at 1800 El Camino is an extended stay Hilton brand hotel in Atascadero with 120 guestrooms, and is Arris' "California-Interpretation" of the Hilton Home2 Brand's modern prototype. The main challenge in working on branded hotels is creating unique experiences specific to location while balancing brand aesthetic requirements. The hotel's colors and materials were originally chosen to complement the City's "Californian Colonial" style, similar to the adjacent Colony Square Retail Center and Galaxy Theater downtown. Arris also drew inspiration from lanterns to create the iconic Home2 "Beacon" architectural tower element, highly visible from El Camino Real. The new hotel proudly serves as a home away from home for many travellers on their Central Coast adventures.
