The Project

Completed in 2020, this iconic CoastHills in Santa Maria serves as the headquarters for CoastHills Credit Union. The CoastHills colors have played an integral part throughout this design, and the colorful facade is an attractive standout driving along the US-101. Blue and green rainscreen panels line the front building elevation and entry tower, welcoming employees and customers with the familiar hues of the CoastHills logo.

Upon entering, several rooms carry the colors through the bank and office's public spaces, from a massive lobby open to all three floors and a three-story feature art wall adjacent to the suspended stair. The building's structure consists of ConXTech Steel framing, which reduced the construction time and eliminated the need for braced frames which opened up much of the interior.
